Welcome to the ‘Sky Room Retreat for Reflexology’ website.
My name is Katherine O’Connor, I’m a full member of the Association of Reflexology (MAR) and I practice in the Reigate area of Surrey.
I passionately believe that Reflexology treats the whole person holistically, supporting and promoting wellbeing on all levels.
I qualified from the Maureen Burgess School of Reflexology at The Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and have a Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council registration (CNHC).
I live on the outskirts of Reigate and work from home, as well as visiting clients in their home in Surrey areas. I also voluntarily give treatments at The Macmillan Centre in Surrey and at St Catherine’s Hospice in West Sussex. I also support fundraising events for The Shooting Star Hospice for Children.
I have a broad base of clients with ages ranging from 11 years to 90 years.
After working in a demanding job in marketing in London and raising a family, I was looking for something completely different. It was after seeing a local advertisement that I experienced my first Reflexology treatment. I did not really know what was happening, but found it very powerful, yet relaxing and my body started responding immediately.
Wanting to learn and understand more, I found Maureen’s school and so my passion for Reflexology began. I set up my own practice after qualifying with the intention of helping others experience this wonderful therapy. I continue to further my knowledge by attending courses through The Association Of Reflexology by very experienced leaders in this field.
Whilst offering a non-judgemental and empathetic atmosphere, I find it so rewarding to see clients taking some time out from their hectic lives to totally relax and rebalance, becoming more centred.
Whatever your concerns, I strive to help you achieve your own natural balance, improving your overall sense of wellbeing. I also offer after-care advice to ensure you achieve the most from your sessions.
